Types of Installation for Woodburners & Multifuel Stoves

The types of woodburner & multifuel stove installations we do can be broken down into two categories:

  • Flexi Liner Installtion
  • Double Wall Installation

Flexi Liner Installation

For those who have an existing chimney.

When you already have a chimney we install woodburners and multifuel stoves using a flexible metal flue liner.

This type of installation can be used for freestanding, inset and cassette woodburners and multifuel stoves.

Most woodburners and multifuel stoves are designed to be used whilst connected to flexible metal liners. Therefore they will operate at their best and most efficient when installed using this type of installation.

Double Wall Installation

For those with no chimney.

This type of installation is used when there is no chimney but still want to have a woodburner or multifuel stove. This is a very popular option for conservatories

Every double wall installation requires different pipework which can limit what you are able to have. We recommend booking an onsite survey early on in the browsing process.

We don’t just install in houses using double wall, we have installed in log cabins, yurts, shepherds huts and on narrow boats too.

HETAS Certification

All of our installations for wood burners and multi fuel stoves include HETAS Certification.
This certification means that our installation is signed off as safe for use without the need of a building inspector and the certificate is accepted by home insurance companies.
If you would like to find out more about the types of installation available please contact our team in the showroom..

Aftersales services

We value our customers, which is why we regularly review our aftersales services to make sure you get the best service possible.
Our after sales promise includes free advice on how to use & maintain your stove.

What about maintenance?

Yearly chimney sweeps are highly recommended. This is because failing to do so can invalidate your home insurance and any warranties on your stove or pipework.
But don’t worry if you forget, you can sign up to our reminder service and email you just before your yearly chimney sweep or stove service is due to remind you.
